It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silas Knobloch of Lester, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Knobloch and Frieda Knobloch (Doerr); his siblings, Libbie DenHartog, Naomi Knobloch and Alfred Knobloch; and his great grandchild Kelton Mogler.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Hohulin; his daughters, Lois Mogler (Rodney) of Alvord, IA, Joyce Moser (Donn), Marilyn Moser (Joel) and Holly Sehr (Russ); and his siblings, Gilbert Knobloch of Rock Rapids, IA, Melvin Knobloch (Wilma), Clyde Knobloch (Charlene), William Knobloch (Eleanor) and Esther Warner (Dennis). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and mask will be recommended during the visitation and funeral service.
