Les Kempf Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 96, Les Kempf of Lester, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emra Kempf and Barbara Kempf (Schlabaugh); his wife Mary; his siblings, Warren, Walter, Wayne, Russell, John, Alice Kempf, Dolores Kempf, Orpha Kempf and Olivia Kempf; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Justice, Mary Kempf and Betty Kempf.
He is survived by: his children, Margo Kempf of Naples, Robert Kempf (Joan) of Solon and John Kempf (Carol) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Bobbie English, Nahida Brookhart (Kurt), Caryn Bilodeau, TJ Kempf, Christine Kempf, Michael Kempf, Matthew Kempf and Aaron Kempf; his sister Martha Justice of Cedar Rapids; and his sister-in-law Ruth Kempf. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren.
Masks are required and social distancing practices will be in place.
Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to 4-H of Johnson County.
