With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Agnes Butcher (Leon, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Henry and Victoria Alexandria Steck (Graham); her husband Doyle Butcher; her daughter Jean May; and her siblings, Floyd, Dale, Delbert and Lethia Steck.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Lynne, Kathleen Sue, Mike Black of Eagleville, Joe May of Lemon Grove and Brian Crockett of Lubbock, Texas; her grandchildren, Jason (Jen Allison), Michelle (Mike Rheuport), Cody Richardson, Colton Richardson and Maddison Richardson; her stepgrandchildren, Seth, Amanda Black, Matthew Black, Alannah and Caleb McHenry; and her sister Judy (Richard Schmid). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
