He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Ray and Ruth Josephine Peppmeier (George); his brother Dwayne Peppmeier; his son Bob Peppmeier; his grandchildren, Carrie Ann Erickson and Justin Peppmeier; his sisters-in-law, Reba Potee and Virginia Smith; and his close friend Oliver Mothershead of Leon.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Peppmeier of Decatur, Iowa; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Donnie Erickson of Paton, Iowa; his granddaughter Sarah Erickson of Paton; his daughter-in-law Robin Tourville; his granddaughter-in-law Laura Peppmeier; his great grandchild Peyton Ray Peppmeier; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Peppmeier, Linda Hunt, Bob Hunt, Ernie Smith and Brent Potee; and his close friend Mary Mothershead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home (103 NE Mill St, Leon, IA 50144).
