He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hale and Cleta Irene Neal (Hamann); and his stepmother Dorothy Neal. He is survived by: his daughter Jennie Grajewski (Cainan); his grandson Vinson Grajewski of Lodi, Wisconsin; his siblings, Myron Neal (Edie) of Lamoni, Iowa and Jocelyn Barney (Jon) of Lamoni, Iowa; his close friend Sandra Jones of Leon, Iowa; and his extended family Maranda Redmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established by the family.
