He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrol Leonard and Virginia Viola Brown (Phillips); and his siblings, Charlie Brown, Colleen Lawson and Hazel Hayes.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Louise Lewis; his children, Angela, Ron, Ann Brown of Des Moines and Stan Lenguadoro of Altoona, Iowa; his grandchildren, Olivia, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Tabitha and Seth; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Aibreann, Eliza, Tommy and Journee; and his siblings, Ralph Brown, Kenny (Shirley Brown), Leonard (Claudia Brown), John (Carol Brown), Gary (Karen Brown), Tom Brown, Mike (Jackie Brown), Georgia Brown, Nellie VanHoozier and Mary Cox.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home (103 NE Mill St, Leon, IA 50144). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established by the Family.
