With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard Lee Wilson of Pella, Iowa, whose life came to an end on June 13, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Elbert Wilson and Belle Hensley Wilson; his siblings, David, Darryl Wilson and Karen Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Decker, Reggie Jennings, Shirley Wilson, Judy Wilson and Marilyn Decker.
He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Ann Decker Wilson of Pella; his daughters, Christine Ann Wilson of Pella and Teresa Lynn Bradley (Robert) of Pella; his grandchildren, Cody Wood (Shasta) of West Branch, Travis Wood of Clarence, Colton Bradley of Pella, Kiara Bradley (Will Schneider) of Springfield, MO and Caroline Bradley of Pella; his great grandchildren, Logan Wood and Matthew Wood of West Branch; his siblings, Phyllis Hill of Mt. Ayr and Galen Wilson (Fran) of Green Castle, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Joanna Wilson of Santa Fe, TX and Helen Jennings of Tipton, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Arising Methodist Church (103 W Michigan St, Lenox, IA 50851). A burial was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dayton Cemetery (103-109 Roosevelt Ave, Clarence, IA 52216).
