She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony McElroy and Mable McElroy (Lister); her son Harland Hoyt; her foster daughter Virginia Zimmerman; and her great grandchild Whitney Dowis.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Hoyt; her daughters, Sylvia McIntyre of Burlington Junction, Missouri, Sheila Gray of Burlington Junction, Missouri, Sherry and Camp of Albuquerque; and her sons-in-law, Larry McIntyre and Doyle Gray. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; 2 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
