He is survived by: his former wife Mildred E. Melvin (Millie); his wife Millie Barker of Lenox, IA; his children, Steven Barker of Lake City, FL and Lynn Irr (Bob) of Creston, IA.; his siblings, Lonnie Barker of Lenox, IA, Bill Barker of Creston, IA., Justine Mendenhall of Prescott, AZ and Elene Heeren (Duane) of Huxley, IA; his grandchildren, Anne Kavars (Nate) of Iowa City, IA, Steven Irr (Jessie) of Winterset, IA, Greg Irr (Emily) of Blue Springs, MO, Kevin Irr (Emily) of Corning, IA and Ben Irr (Olivia Nielsen) of Creston, IA.; and his great grandchildren, Violet Kavars, Landyn, Karleigh, Kelsie Irr, Perry and Sawyer Irr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Memorials will be gifted to the following organizations: Lenox Presbyterian Church, Lenox Depot Fund, and The Wallace Foundation for Rural Research and Development.
