He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sweetser Ferguson and Miriam Ferguson (Miller); his former wife Fran; his wife Audy; his sisters, Miriam Woodruff (Herb) and Barbara Beegel (Paul); and his daughter-in-law Cynthia Flint-Ferguson.
He is survived by: his son Jere Ferguson (Sandra) of Lenox, Iowa; his grandchildren, Moses Ferguson (Melanie) of Blue Springs, Missouri, Emeline Ferguson of Phippsburg, Maine, Emalie Hogan (James) of Malvern, Iowa and Sam Donaldson (Amber); his great grandchildren, Elliot, Elise Ferguson and Isabelle Hogan; his niece Susan Beegel of Phippsburg, Maine; and also, Beth Wemple of Victor and Gary DeMay of North Carolina.
Memorials may be given in his name or to Every Step Hospice in Mount Ayr.
