He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Salevsky and Elizabeth Frisch Salevsky (Betty); his in-laws, Jack and Evelyn Frost; and his brother-in-law Larry Surfus.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Frost of Leighton; his children, Stephen Salevsky (Kerri Jo) of Oskaloosa, Jessica Perry (Matthew) of Ankeny and Melissa (Oosman) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Zackary, Brandon and Nicholas Salevsky (Natalie Thomas); his children, Jace, Jayden, Jaxton Perry, Aaliyah, Jannah and Shahrazad; his siblings, Edward J. Salevsky Jr. (Adrian) of Middlebury Center and Elizabeth Bilyeu (David) of Easton, Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Linda Surfus of Oskaloosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2051 Eaton Ave, Leighton, IA 50143).
