He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heslop and Nancy Heslop (Potter); his wife Phyllis Heslop; and his siblings, Ida Davidson, William "Bud" Heslop, Dolores "Peck" Spurlin, Edward "Boy" Heslop, Donald "Mick" Heslop, Joyce Murray, Frances Summers, Genese Hanus and Letha Elsberry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy O'Hearn (Mike) of Northboro, Angie Wedemeyer (Dwight) of Fort Dodge and Jody Klaver (Kirk) of Webster City; his brother Jim Heslop (Darlene) of Hope; and also Dick. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
