Trent Hunter wrote a sympathy message

“As a fellow Waterloo Exchange Club member, Monica was one that whenever I came into the place she would have a smile on her face and be greeting, me not with the traditional handshake, but a hug (and possibly a kiss on the cheek) and a comment with a smile and laugh that was all to recognizable. She would always cheer up the room. She will be missed, but she will be remembered for years to come. Rest in peace my friend.”
