He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Snell and Mary Snell (Hofen); his former wife Peggy Arnold; his wife Karen Messer; his children, Vernon Snell Jr. (Darlene), Terry Snell (Dora), Kimberly Snell (Donnie) and Derrick Snell (Tina); and his stepchildren, Johnny Hill, Orville Hill, Darlene Hill and Dora Hill. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
