It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ubbe Jurrens (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Jurrens and Anke Jurrens (Henricks); his parents-in-law, Dick and Helen Kruger; his brother Glenn Jurrens; his grandson Matthew Jurrens; and his parents-in-law, Mavis Jurrens, Marlys Jurrens, Ruth Jurrens, Thelma, Robert Brown, Betty Kruger, Richard, Ethyl Kruger and Gary Kruger.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Kruger of Le Mars; his children, Darwin Jurrens (Lynn) of Le Mars, Alan Jurrens (Penny Martinez) of Littleton, CO, Darla Jurrens of Le Mars and Brad Jurrens (Robin) of Highlands Ranch, CO; his grandchildren, Michael Jurrens (Shelby), Kristin Anthony, Danielle Williams (Dustin), Nicholas Jurrens, Kayla Crowder (Andy) and Connor Jurrens; his great grandchildren, Jordan Berkenpas, Jaymison Jurrens, Claira Williams, Brynlee Jurrens, Gavin Anthony, Grace Anthony and Gage Anthony; his siblings, Alvin Jurrens, Jake Jurrens, Clarence Jurrens (Joyce), Harold Jurrens (Faye), Frederick Jurrens, Marvin Jurrens and Annetta Hickman (David); and his sister-in-law Nancy Jurrens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can made in Ubbe's name to the First Baptist Church in Le Mars.
