She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan J. Rowe and Ethel Rowe (Gabel); her niece Leslie Campbell; her brother Dean; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Rowe, Dave Argenta, Bob Timmins and Janet Timmins.
She is survived by: her niece Sharon Rowe; her nephew Steve Rowe (Colleen); her great-nephews, Keaton Rowe (Taylor) and Hunter Rowe; her sister-in-law Marilyn Argenta; her nieces, Sydney Coder and Le Ann Eckhart (Tom); her nephew David Argenta; and also Fern Schulz. She is also survived by extended family members; and many, many friends.
Shirley volunteered for many years at Life Skills in Le Mars, the Plymouth County Museum and the hospital gift shop, and she served as board member of Food for Life, Christian Needs Center, the Plymouth County Museum, and the Life Skills Foundation.
