She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Arnold and Marie Catherine Maass (Ericksen); her husband John Burton Anderson; her siblings, Dorothy Robinson (Glen), Helen Bottjen (George), Roy Maass and Wayne Maass; her sisters-in-law, Faye Maass and Alma Maass; and her parents-in-law, W. G. and Frances Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Anderson (Joyce) of Le Mars, Joyce Vander Wilt (Larry) of Sioux Center, IA, Cynthia Roosa (Steve) of Le Mars, Robert Anderson of Le Mars, Roger Anderson of Boyden, IA and Laurie Paquette of Chicago, IL; her brother Elmer Maass of Remsen, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Judith Maass of Paullina, Judy Maass of Urbandale, IA and Ed Anderson (Sandy) of Council Bluffs, IA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
