He was predeceased by: his father Virtus Hargens; and his siblings, James Hargens and Diane Hargens. He is survived by: his mother Lois Hargens (Joens) of Le Mars, IA; his wife Karen Dirks; his daughters, Krystle Clarey (Casey) of Le Mars, IA and Rachel Lehmann (Ryan) of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Linda Huls (Darwin) of Le Mars, IA, Larry Hargens (Tami) of Valrico, FL, Janice Sitzmann (Lon) of Kingsley, IA, Dennis Hargens (Kathy) of Le Mars, IA and Darrell Hargens (Kim) of Le Mars, IA; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Harper, Macie, Jade and Emmett Clarey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
