He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rust and Lucille Rust (Coenen); his father-in-law Theodore Sondag; and his sister-in-law Susan Sondag. He is survived by: his brothers, William Rust (Karen), Roger Rust (Pam) and Michael Rust (Pam); his mother-in-law Joan Sondag; and his siblings-in-law, James Sondag (Sandy), Joseph Sondag (Cathie), Jerry Sondag (Nyra), Donald Sondag, Bill Sondag (Lisa), Linda Brannan (Tom) and Kathy Smit (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Because Bob felt so strongly about the importance of learning a skill and working with one's hands, the family requests that memorials be directed to Bob's family to fund a scholarship for area students who have that career goal.
