He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Langel and Christine Langel (Rolfes); his siblings, Helen, Adele, Mildred, Mary Ellen, Ed, Victor, Bill, Lawrence and Clifford; his parents-in-law, Sylvia and Leonard Treinen; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Forman, Joyce Treinen, Eileen Langel, Charlotte Langel, Helen Langel, Mark Treinen, John Forman, Lawrence Ney, Mark Bivins, Joseph Junkers and Henry Boden.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Treinen; his children, Steve (LuAnn), Dan (Jenni), Jeff (Charlotte), Christine Larsen (Eric) and Janice Mishler (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Isabelle Laddasaw, JoEllen Treinen, Charlotte Townsend, Bill Treinen and Terry Townsend. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Ray's name to Gehlen Catholic Schools.
