He is survived by: his wife Laura Nelson of Le Mars, IA; his son Shaune Nelson; his stepbrother Rodney (Janet Reinholdt) of Le Claire, IA; and also, Kelli, Greg Meister of Le Mars, IA, Kim, Adam Harth of Merrill, IA, Christy, Marty Weed of Le Mars, IA, Susan, James Plueger of Le Mars, IA, Julie and Russell Schoenherr of Sioux City, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
