It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Rae (Case) Plendl (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Leia (Monte); her former husband Wayne Thieman; her friend William Plendl; her husband William; her son Kaden Thieman (Jamie); her grandchildren, Amanda Peters (Richard), Dylan Hawkins (Melany), Montanna Jost (Riley Isaacson), Eryn Jost (Caleb Jungers), Zackery Jost, Graysen Thieman, Arysten Judah Thieman and Hunter Bruns; her great grandchildren, Kain, Avin, Kimberly Peters and Brinley Isaacson; her sister Diane Evans (Mike); her sisters-in-law, Mary Case, Connie Robeson, Eilene Foster (Bud) and Dorothy Kennedy; her nephew Mike Evans (Kristie); her nieces, Elisha Evans-Raber (Brady), Emily Whiten (Jay) and Sarah DiGioia (Gino); her great-nephews, Mason, Max, Mylan Evans, Braden (Greyson Burnett), Zaden Evans, Jackson Whiten and Horace DiGioia; her great-niece Daphne DiGioia; her pet Bella; and also Parker Evans. She is also survived by many cousin and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home (780 12th St SW, Le Mars, IA 51031).
