She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Rupp and Lillian Rupp; her husband Roy Messerole; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Messerole, Jesse Messerole, Tiny Messerole, Tom Selk, Gayle Messerole, Sheryl Messerole and Elaine Rupp.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Michael Messerole (Julie) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Anna Eslick (Jordan) and Adam Messerole (Becca); her great grandchild Stella; her children, Bill Messerole (Devon) of Creston, IA and Quin Leith (Lacey); her grandchildren, Hudson, Miles, Carver and Zachary Leith (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Oliver, Scout, Gavin Leith (Lauren) and Cameron Leith; her son Tom Messerole (Darby); her granddaughters, Sylvia Messerole (Max Dreher) and Mercedes Torres (Mark); her great grandchildren, Raven, Jaxon Dunn (Hunter), Rhyker, Ozzy, Hunter, Georgia and Brett; her daughter Suzy Messerole (Dianne Berg) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchild Solvei; her brothers, Royden Rupp (Della) of Cherokee, IA and Dale Rupp (Peg) of Des Moines, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Gertrude Selk of Cherokee, IA, Joyce Bechtel (Mike) of Cherokee, IA and Elaine Messerole of Cherokee, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many close friends.
At the family's request, wearing a mask and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mary's name to the Le Mars Community School District Foundation and/or All Saints Catholic Parish in Le Mars.
