With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Agnes Helmers (Le Mars, Iowa), born in Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabel Delores Miller (Rubis) and Ralph Miller; her siblings, Robert Miller and Jeanne Miller; her husband Richard; and her daughter-in-law Dusty Helmers.
She is survived by: her children, Don Helmers and Jeanne Graves (Dennis); her grandchildren, Greg Helmers (DeeDee), Kristen McCaslin (Chris), Heidi Helmers (Ty Roper), Evan Graves and Leah Cuomo (Angelo); and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Austin, Luke Helmers, Madison McCaslin and James Cuomo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mauer Johnson Funeral Home (780 12th St SW, Le Mars, IA 51031). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Parish - St James (109 6th Ave SW, Le Mars, IA 51031, USA). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM.
