With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcine Agnes Hames (Le Mars, Iowa), born in Wakonda, South Dakota, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Olson and Kathryn Olson (Dwyer); her husband Richard P. Hames; her children, Patricia Hames, Francis Hames, Richard A. Hames and Susan Ahrendt; and her close friend Diana Bixenman.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Wayne Ahrendt of Sioux Falls, SD; her stepgrandson Andy Ahrendt of Omaha, NE; and her close friend Dennis Bixenman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
