She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Plueger and Fannie Plueger; her husband Bill Berkenpas; her son-in-law Lanny Harms; her grandson-in-law Tim Weiler; and her father-in-law Jake.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Harms of Le Mars and Gary Berkenpas (Judy) of Le Mars; her grandchildren, Lorie Weiler of Remsen, IA, Rick Harms (Sherri) of Remsen, IA, Mark Berkenpas (Theresa Sonnleitner), Gina Allen (Tim) of Seattle, WA and Tori Berkenpas (Patrick Young); her granddaughter-in-law LaShell Berkenpas of Norwalk, IA; and her sisters, Fern Schulz of Le Mars and Joyce Staum of Akron, IA. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Lil's name to St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Life Skills Training Center in Le Mars, or a charity of your choice.
