With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavonne (Holton) Kommes (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Holton (Barthole); her husband Don Kommes; her father Jim Holton; her parents-in-law, Albert and Mabel Kommes; her siblings, Shirley Huewe, Sharon Collins, Loren Holton and Tom Holton; her parents-in-law, Erlene Kommes, Dolores Sitzmann (Gerald), Larry Kommes, Florence Thiel (Butch) and Leonard Kommes (Betty); and her grandson Michael Kommes.
She is survived by: her children, Steve "Oner" Kommes (Suzie), Dave Kommes (Sue), Wayne "Whitey" Kommes (LuAnn), Deb Loutsch (Tom), Scott Kommes (Paula), Bob Kommes (Sharla), Annette Kuiken (Rob), Sheryl Bartels (Gene "Bart"), Cindy Daggett (Mike) and Denise Spieler (Steve); her siblings, Jim Holton (Camille), Bev Humphrey (Bob), Joyce Crawford (Steve) and Maureen Carroll (Mick); and her parents-in-law, Phil Huewe, Ken Kommes, Richard Kommes (Marlys), Mary Ann Langley (Bill), Loretta Steichen (Lee) and Lavonne Galles (Pete). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Social distancing and wearing a mask will be required.
