He was predeceased by: his parents, John Feller and Justine Feller (Orban); and his wife Darlene Feller (Smith). He is survived by: his former wife Sally Phelan; his son Michael Feller; his wife Lori of Le Mars; his children, Michelle Mortensen (Marland) of Basehor, KS and Jonathan Feller (Andrea) of Longview, WA.; his grandchildren, John Feller, Melissa Moir, Megan Giese, Allison, Celena and Marriah Feller; his brother Marvin Feller (Darlene) of Shenandoah, IA.; his niece Kris Gibbs (Eric) of Fremont, NE; his nephews, Mark Feller (Cori) of Shenandoah, IA, Jeff Feller of Des Moines, IA and Brad Feller (Beth) of Chicago, IL.; and his stepchildren, Blue Ruhland (Rebecca), Norbert Ruhland (Pat), Jeannine Keunen Le (Arnold), Annette Sitzmann Rural (Gayle) and JoAnn Langel (Leo) of Le Mars. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The public is invited to attend the graveside service while practicing social distancing as mandated by state and federal guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Memorials can be made in LaVerne's name to Hospice of Siouxland or the Parkinson's Foundation.
