He is survived by: his children, Jeanine Penning (Lon), Jane DeRocher (Denny), Brad Ufken (Vicki) and Abigail Johnson; and his grandchildren, Tyler Penning (Mandy), Travis Penning, Jay Penning (Amanda), Kayla Koch (Chris), Derek Ufken (Elisa) and Bryce Ufken. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and many cousins and other relatives.
