It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Hamer (Le Mars, Iowa), born in Manson, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hamer and Mercedes Hamer (Thoma); his parents-in-law, Truman and Ruth Yeschick; his nephew Jared Neumann; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Hamer, Randy Yeschick (Audrey) and Mike Yeschick.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamer of Le Mars, IA; his children, Kristin (Chris Mason) of Arlington, TX, Brian (Barbara Hamer) of Sioux Falls, SD, Shelly Ostermyer (Carl Swanson) of Le Mars, IA and Jason Hamer of Sioux City, IA.; his grandchildren, Cooper, Connor, Caleb, Josie, Isabella, Nicholas, Dylan, Kaden, Logan, Lawson, Tylen, Kylie and Khloe; and his siblings, Roger Hamer of Salem, MO, Robert Hamer of Salem, MO and Roxann Neumann (Tom) of Plainview, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church or to the family.
