James Gerhardt Helms Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gerhardt Helms (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Helms and Margaret Helms (Lawther); his wife Jeanette Helms; his daughter-in-law Rita Helms; his grandson Dywane Lowrey; his great grandchild James Kraft, Jr.; and his brothers, Don and Dean Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Helms of Kansas City, KS, Ron (Julie Helms), Kathy (Mike Ream) and Bill (Pam Helms). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He later changed to a simpler beaded Rosary so he could make more and often donated them to Gehlen's Mission Honduras.
