It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herman Vander Well (Le Mars, Iowa), born in Boyden, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Nelson Callfas; and his mother-in-law Madeline Callfas. He is survived by: his son Everdina Vander Well (Bloem); his wife Jane Vander Well of Le Mars; his children, Don Vander Well, Dan Vander Well (Donna) and Victoria Vander Well; his grandchildren, Jacki Blackerby (Kerry) and Jeremy Vander Well; his great grandchildren, Shyanne and Hudson Blackerby; his brother Dean Vander Well (Jeanne); and his brother-in-law Jim Callfas (Karol).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Bud's name to the American Legion Wasmer Post 241 in Le Mars.
