He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Paul and Mabel Millsap; his sisters, Mary Bangs, Helen Driggs (Chuck) and Mildred Springer (Perry); his in-laws, Charles Willer, Ray Trusheim, Wallace Knerr and Martha Millsap; his son-in-law Dale Slieter; his niece Deb Campbell; and his nephew Brian Bangs.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Le Mars; his children, Janet Slieter of Luverne, MN, Kay DeHart (Ben) of Overland Park, KS and David Laughton (Angie) of Le Mars; his grandson Mike DeHart (Juliana); his great grandchildren, Tristan and Heath; his grandsons, Dr. Tom DeHart and Joe Slieter (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Asher and Luke; his grandson Josh Slieter (Katie); his great grandchildren, Dalan, Dietrich and Desmond; his grandchildren, Cody Laughton (Abbey) and Jenna Laughton; his sisters, Joyce Willer of Le Mars, IA and Lois Trusheim of Toledo, IA; and his brother-in-law Jerome Millsap (Faye) of Estherville, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
