It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evon Puetz (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Emma Puetz (Nuebel); his wife Ann Puetz; his sister Harriett Langel (Don); and his parents-in-law, John Schnepf and Marge Puetz.
He is survived by: his former spouse Annarean Rolfes; his children, Kris Gross (Bill) of Indianola, IA and Bob Puetz (Lisa) of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Brad Puetz (Carrie), Tod Puetz (Sara), Cory Puetz (Kari), Erin Nizzi (Andy), Emily Eton (Ryan) and Alex Gross; his siblings, Gene Puetz (Lavern) and Maxine Schnepf; his parents-in-law, Lois Woll (Paul), Jeanie Schmitz (Norbert) and Terry Rolfes; and his grandson Jason Puetz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The public is invited to attend, social distancing and wearing a mask required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gehlen Catholic School or All Saints Catholic Parish.
