She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Kayser and Matilda Kayser (Kramer); her husband Joseph Henry Ortmann; her parents-in-law, Henry and Regina Ortmann; her siblings, Paul Kayser (Norma), Jim Kayser (Clara) and Sylvia Koopman (Wayne); her brothers-in-law, Donald Ortmann, Reverend Bill Ortmann, Louis Ortmann and Melvin Koch; her daughters-in-law, Jane Ortmann and Tina Ortmann; and her uncle Walter Ortmann.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ortmann (Kathy) of Storm Lake, Alice Galvin (Vincent) of Sioux City, Philip Ortmann of Sioux City, Thomas Ortmann of Le Mars, Valeria Brown (Ken) of Rapid City and Henry Ortmann (Brenda) of Centerville, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Koch, Sandy Ortmann and Betsy Ortmann. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
