We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, at the age of 68, Donald Koopman (Le Mars, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Donald leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Koopman and Phyllis Koopman (Freymann); and his children, Lora Lee Koopman and Shane Michael Koopman. He is survived by: his children, Alissa Maeda (Koopman), Alan Koopman (Melissa) and Kelsey Koopman; and his sisters, Anne Koopman and Teresa Koopman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
