He is survived by: his wife Cheri Heissel of Le Mars, IA; his son Cole (Jackie Heissel); his grandchildren, Emery and Elena of Remsen, IA; his daughter Megan (Ty Schoellerman); his grandchild Arlo; his siblings, Dr. Kris Melloy (Steve) of Loveland, CO, Jeff Heissel (Laura) of Arlington Heights, IL, Becky Bates (Bud) of Le Mars, IA, Lori Rogan (Mike) of Dubuque, IA, Kim Becker (Jay) of Le Mars, IA, Kevin Heissel (Connie) of Le Mars, IA, Jackie Clarey (Joe) of Le Mars, IA, Nikki Johnson (Joel) of Le Mars, IA and B. J. Heissel (Kerri Hoffman) of Le Mars, IA; his father-in-law Marlan "Punk" Steinfadt of Le Mars, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Hartwig of Spirit Lake, IA, Sharon Steinfadt of Le Mars, IA and Craig Steinfadt (Dawn) of Hayfield, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
