She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Herman and Mable Herman (Gabel); her husband Donald; her siblings, Lelan, Milton (Liz), Willard (Estella), Gerald, Duane Herman (Nancy), Eva Varenhorst (Harry) and Marjorie Willer; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Mroczkowski, Verlyn Baker and LaVerle "Whitey" Bohlken.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean (Leann), Dan (Leigh Anne), David (Heidi) and Darin of Marquette, MI; her siblings, Shirley Baker of Wagner, SD, Gladys Mroczkowski of Le Mars, IA, Milford Herman (Sharon) of Le Mars, IA and Don Herman (Gloria) of Urbandale, IA; and her brother-in-law Virgil Willer of Akron, IA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
