He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ludwigs and Lillian Ludwigs (Jelken); his daughter Brenda Sjovall; and his sisters, Catherina Marie Ludwigs and Patricia Ann Plueger.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Ludwigs of Le Mars, IA; his daughter Sheila Ludwigs of Le Mars, IA; his son-in-law Jeremy Sjovall of Beresford, SD; his granddaughter Cassidy Sjovall of Beresford, SD; and his sister Anita Ann Meyers of Le Mars, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
