Darlene (Sitzmann) Koopman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2020, at the age of 93, Darlene (Sitzmann) Koopman (Le Mars, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Sitzmann and Irene Sitzmann (Nugent); her husband Elwood "Bud" Koopman; her son-in-law John Hughes; and her brothers, Harold Sitzmann (Shirley) and Merlin Sitzmann.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hughes of Tega Cay, SC and Bill Koopman (Kris) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Kevin Hughes, Katie Osorio (Mario), Mollie Rogers (Hal), Mindy Scheitler (Toby), Kari Jurgensen and Jessica Culler (Aaron); and also Eugene Sitzmann of Cherokee, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
