She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Smith and Pearl Smith (Barnes); her former husband Virgil Ruhland; her parents-in-law, Norbert and Christina Ruhland; her great grandchild Brett Ruhland; and her great great grandchild Royce Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband LaVerne Feller of Kansas City, MO; her children, Blue Ruhland (Rebecca) of Gulf Shores, AL, Norbert Ruhland (Pat) of McCook Lake, SD, Jeannine Keunen (Arnold) of Le Mars, IA, Annette Sitzmann (Gayle) of Le Mars, IA and JoAnn Langel (Leo) of Le Mars, IA; and her stepchildren, Michelle Mortensen (Marland) of Basehor, KS, Mike Feller (Lori) of Le Mars, IA and Johnathan Feller (Andrea) of Longview, WA.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 10 great great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will take place at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.
