He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Nuzum and Beatrice Nuzum (Coate); his granddaughter Kristin Collier; his siblings, Shirley, Bonnie Martin (Bil), Colleen Martin (Earl), Darlene Moore (Wilbur), JoAnn Runyan (Jay), Carol Nuzum, Kenneth, Robert Nuzum, Leo Nuzum (Shirley) and DeWayne "Gary" Nuzum (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Nuzum, Rex Hargroves and Larry Theisen.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeane Hytrek of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Shayne Sears (Kristina) of Logan, IA, Nick Sears (Jessica) of Missouri Valley, IA, Derek Sears (Emily) of Logan, IA, James Sears of Biloxi, MS and Jade McEvoy (Justin) of Persia, IA; his siblings, Barbara Hargroves of Holstein, IA, Joyce Williams (Gary) of Le Mars, IA, Patricia Johnson (Ronald) of Calumet, IA, Diane Theisen of Logan, IA, Allan Nuzum (Joyce) of Wabasha, MN and Jack Nuzum of Williston, ND; and his sister-in-law Nettie Nuzum of Woodbine, IA. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
