He is survived by: his children, Sonja Harms (Jeff) of Le Mars and Staci Hansen of Akron, IA; his grandchildren, Samantha Harms Kedley (Kyle), Dylan Harms, Brandon Hansen, Morgan Hansen (Blake Merchant) and Jacob Hansen (Brooke Hingst); and his great grandchildren, Hailey Rachel Harms and Xander Elbert Merchant. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
