Carol Clarey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2021, at the age of 83, Carol Clarey (Le Mars, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hillrichs and Alma Hillrichs (Meinen); her husband Paul Clarey (Al); her son Jeffrey John; her granddaughter Kaitelin Clarey; her sister Marlys; and her siblings-in-law, Loretta Hillrichs, Jack Clarey (Nadine), Patricia Graham (Dwight), Richard Clarey (Shirley), Ann DeRocher (Leo), Ray Clarey (Helen), Emmett Sitzmann, Lu Beck and Donna Vondrak.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Clarey (Jane) of Le Mars, Connie Schmidt (Mike) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Mike Clarey (Kim) of Le Mars, Lori Brown (Kirk) of Le Mars and Joe Clarey (Jackie) of Le Mars; her brothers, Marlin Hillrichs (Pearl), Richard Hillrichs (Cherlyn) and Kenneth Hillrichs; and her siblings-in-law, Lucy Sitzmann, Jean Clarey, Phil Vondrak and Dennis Beck. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.
