He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene and Edna Mae Speck (Moore); his daughter Kindra Speck; his granddaughter Kendra Speck; his sister Diane; and his brother-in-law George Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Floyd Speck (Amanda Reed) of Tama and Chastine Speck of Tama; and his siblings, Rick Speck (Lori) of Gilman, James Hainline (Katie) of Eldora, Kathy Craun (Bob) of Toledo and Gloria Stanton (Dave) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
