We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ann Tichy of Le Grand, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Parizek and Julia Parizek (Zeman); her husband George Tichy; her son-in-law Lenny Underhill; and her siblings, Melvin, Paul Parizek, Virginia Werner and Barbara Prusha.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Walden (Larry) of Marshalltown, Jim Tichy (Scherry) of Marshalltown, Jerry Tichy (Teresa) of Marshalltown and Cathy Underhill of Le Grand; and her grandchildren, Shane Tichy (Jennifer Gushue), Julie McCaughey (Rob), Alissa Walters (Brad), Chad Underhill (Amanda), Shelly Posadas (Brian Jones), Lisa Schmidt (Joel), Sarah Dickmeyer (Corey), Serena Tichy and Jared Tichy (Armela). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per state guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
