He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thayer and Edna Thayer (Lamb); his wife Fern Gull; and his siblings, Roy Thayer and Margie Ferring.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Gibson (Karla), James Gibson (Patty) and Lori Gibson (Mike Kerr); and his siblings, Loyd Thayer and Mary Ann Bagel. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
