With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claude Vokoun (Le Grand, Iowa), who passed away on December 29, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marian (Reed); his parents, Edward Vokoun and Fern Vokoun; his brothers, Glen and Clyde; and his son Dennis.

He is survived by: his siblings, Edward and Fern Vokoun (Willits); his pet Chico; his children, Richard of Tucson, AZ and Sharon Forbes (Larry) of LeGrand, IA.; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Duty (Scott) of Hartland, WI, Matthew Vokoun (Reena) of San Diego, CA, Karri Smallwood (Steven) of Bethlehem, GA and Kalisha Brewster (Derek) of Blackshear, GA.. He is also survived by great-grandpa are fifteen grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Claude's name to the LeGrand Friends Church.

“Dear Sharon, Larry Richard & families. So sorry for your lose of Claude. Claude was a man that loved his family, his dog, The Cards, and the Cubs baseball teams!!! Cubs was one the one he loved to watch. He loved to drink coffee in the morning, and he made it just so. Claude was very loving person. He always wanted to drive his Buick Regal car, but was unable to with his eye sight. God speed Claude!!! Bruce and Marcia Lenhart”
