He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Sarah 'Sally' Griffin; his children, Ben Bolton (Tina) of California, Suzanne Heeren of Beresford, Ronald Bolton of California, Colleen Hoppe (Doug) of Le Mars and Rachael Smith of Florida; and his grandchildren, Shannon Ivarsen (Steve), Gordan Finch, Cody Heeren (Stacy), Elizabeth Bolton (Keo), Benjamin Bolton (Lily), Justin Hoppe (Linette), Steven Smith and Samantha Smith. He was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren.
