He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lampe and Esther Lampe (Peirsdorf); his wife Joanne Parson; and his daughter Barbara Blong. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Lampe (Betty) and Brenda Havens (Arthur) of Ionia; his son-in-law Ray Blong of Waucoma; his grandchildren, Gary Lampe, Cindy Lampe, Julie Zeien and Artie Havens; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abigail and Parker Zeien; and his sister Donna Mae Meyer of Fredericksburg.
